We host corporate groups, faith groups, school groups, and all kinds of civic groups of five or more people.  We’ve even hosted a birthday volunteer party!  Some benefits of group volunteering include team building, learning new skills, working outside, and giving back to the community.

WORK DAY SPONSORSHIP: A group build day allows your business or organization to support the Habitat mission both financially and through hands-on effort.  Please click here for more information regarding the program.

FAITH GROUPS:  Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is a Christian organization and we rely heavily on churches to support us in our work.  We encourage churches and congregations to partner with us to eliminate poverty housing.

STUDENT GROUPS:  Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is proud to sponsor two college student chapters and several high school clubs.  Volunteering with Habitat is a great way to meet community service requirements, make a tangible difference, and learn something new!

GENERAL INFORMATION:  No experience necessary!  Habitat provides tools, safety equipment, and on-site training.  Age restrictions apply. Group size is normally limited to 10 volunteers at at time.  We’ve discovered that by limiting groups sizes, we can keep a better handle on job site safety and our volunteers come away feeling a lot more satisfied because they haven’t been standing around.  For those folks wishing to accommodate more than 10 people, we often split the work day up into a morning and afternoon shift with an overlapping lunch.  Lunch is either provided by your group or Habitat will arrange for a volunteer lunch provider to bring a simple lunch to the jobsite.

HAVE FUN, GIVE BACK, AND BUILD WITH HABITAT!  Please call 563-359-9066 or contact project director, Ben Kantner  for more information or to schedule a group build day.
