Local Trust Funds Habitat for Humanity – Quad Cities

The Mary Iva Gittens Knouse Charitable Trust has donated $1,000 in support of Habitat for Humanity – Quad Cities’ mission to eliminate poverty housing in the area.

Funds from the Mary Iva Gittens Knouse Charitable Trust are distributed in the community and used for educational, scientific or charitable purposes within the general area of Davenport and Eastern Iowa.

Habitat for Humanity – Quad Cities is a nonprofit Christian housing organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing by building simple, decent and affordable housing. “Partner” families purchase these homes with a no-interest mortgage and invest time in the build process. Founded in 1993, HFH-QC has made the dream of home ownership possible for 43 families and will build seven homes in 2007.
