Dedicates 49th Home

Bettendorf, IA –On Saturday, October 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities will dedicate home #49. This is the 7th Habitat house to be built in Moline and is located at 430 – 6th Street. It will become home to Betty Hoff and her two sons. Ms. Hoff has completed more than the required 250 hours of “sweat equity” working on her home, other partner family homes under construction, and additional Habitat activities such as homeowner classes and fundraisers.

A large portion of the sponsorship funding for this home was provided by Wells Fargo. Additional funding came from The Amy Helpenstell Foundation, Moline Foundation and the Duncan J. Cameron Family Foundation. The lot for this property was acquired through the assistance of the City of Moline.

The public is invited to the Home Dedication Ceremony, to watch the home be blessed and the house keys presented to the Hoff family. Those who attend this event will also be able to meet the partner family and tour their home.
