State Farm to Sponsor Habitat Home

State Farm Insurance Companies has contributed $5,000 toward the purchase of building materials for a Habitat home scheduled for construction in Davenport in 2007. Habitat for Humanity – Quad Cities welcomes State Farm as a new corporate sponsor in support of our mission to eliminate poverty housing in the Quad Cities.

Ground will be broken in the spring at 1030 Tremont, site of the future home for Michelle Morgan and her two children. Habitat partner families contribute a minimum of 250 “sweat equity” hours toward construction of their home and homes for other partner families and purchase the home with a down payment and no-interest loan.

For more information on becoming a Habitat partner family, contact Habitat for Humanity – Quad Cities at 359-9066.
