RestoreOver 20 years ago, the Quad Cities ReStore opened as the first ReStore in Iowa. The idea grew out of a need to keep useable building materials out of the landfill and provide funding for Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities. With generous community support, ReStore was born! All items come to us by donation and our list of acceptable donations has expanded to include furniture, appliances, antiques, doors, lights, flooring, framed art and many other items. As a fund raising arm for Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities, proceeds from the ReStore are used to help build and repair homes in Scott County, Iowa, and Rock Island County, Illinois. Everyone is welcome to come in and shop, donate or volunteer and help continue our mission of diverting items from the landfill and building strength and stability through homeownership.
