who we are

Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities is a nonprofit housing organization that has served the local community since 1993. We operate in Scott County, Iowa and Rock Island County, Illinois. Our programs consist of new home construction, home repairs and accessibility ramps for low-income individuals. Habitat brings people together to build, rehabilitate and maintain safe, and affordable homes. We also advocate for fair housing policies. We invite you to join us as we build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

Partner Families

Every day, families partner with Habitat for Humanity to build homes and better lives. Through hard work, homeowner courses, and sweat equity hours, they take meaningful steps toward lasting stability.  home repair
Home repairs improve the health and safety of the families we serve. We are currently serving a target area in Davenport, Iowa between the borders of West Locust Street to the North, 4th Street to the South, Harrison Street to the East, and Division Street to the West. A sliding scale fee will be paid by the homeowner.

homeownership
We build or renovate simple, decent, affordable homes. These homes are purchased by families with a low down payment, a no-interest mortgage, and with affordable monthly mortgage payments that are based on the family’s income. Families are selected based on need, ability to pay a mortgage, and willingness to partner with Habitat.

accessibility ramp
A accessibility ramp provide access in and out of a home. It gives the opportunity to remain home with physical limitations or return home after an injury. This program aligns with our mission to restore hope and empower our low-income, aging, or disabled neighbors. A sliding scale fee will be paid by the homeowner.
